NOUN

  1. theology
Christian fellowship or communion, with God or more commonly, with fellow Christians.

The primary meaning is "fellowship," sharing in common, communion. Acts 2:42 describes believers as "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Christian fellowship is a key aspect of the Christian life and believers in Christ are to come together in a spirit of love, faith and encouragement - the very essence of Koinonia. This serves to bond believers together in the unity of our faith, while learning whom it is that we labor among. In the hectic, distraction-filled world we live in today, it is vital that believers have a time in which they can gather together - and we recognize the need for this crucial element in the life of the believer. Join us! We meet once a month in the homes of our members, share potluck meals and a small teaching.
